Make Your Own Success! (Only You can)
FREEDOM OF CHOICE
The Christian persecution and destruction of the feminine, brought as a consequence The Dark Ages. Some 400 years of obscurantism, of stagnation of learning, and cultural darkness. Then, during the Renaissance, people tried to recover some semblance of culture and went back to the classic Greek. In a world dominated by religious terror, there was nothing else. The cultural myths of the classical Greek culture had taken them into decline and oblivion.
Interestingly enough, they were all copied verbatim. Of course, they were compatible with the Christian dogma.
In this new era of Aquarius, of enlightment, we will do well dismantling the Greek archetypes that dominate our cultural thinking and manipulate our lives. These weakening myths deny our power, perpetuating our misery.
THE MYTH OF SYSSIFUS
If you remember, Sisyphus was a guy who tried to obtain knowledge. For this, the gods, just like the Christian god did with Adam and Eve, punished him. The punishment consisted in his eternal compulsion to push a boulder up a mountain, under the scorching sun. If he dared to stop for a moment, to take a breath, the “vultures would eat his livers” (in plural). Finally the guy would reach the top of the cliff and in a last push would send the boulder over the top. The boulder rolled down the side of the cliff to the bottom. Then Sisyphus, still without rest, had to begin all over again and push the rock up the hill. Over and over. Forever.
Now wonder few people dared to look for knowledge.
DAEDALUS AND ICARUS
This myth has to do with Icarus’ desire to reach the sun. To escape a labyrinth, he built this wings and could fly. The wings were made of feathers glued together with wax. Once airborne, he went higher and higher, curious about the sun. But when he approached, the sun melted the wax that held his wings together and he fell into the ocean, perishing.
Less and less people dared to look up, or high into their divine character! No wonder!
The message is clear: if you dare to seek knowledge or look into the divine, you are done, finished, kaput!
With the Greek theater we were told that:
· Fate orders everything and no matter what we do, all is pre-ordained.
· Men have to kill their brothers and steal their women.
· Men lust for their mothers, and kill for it.
· Women lust for their fathers and kill for it.
No wonder there is such a lot of raping and killing in our world!
STOP BELIEVING IN FATE!
Nothing is pre-ordained by “fate”! As Lobsang Rampa says in his book “The Third Eye” we plan, our lives before we are born. Then, once here, we have complete freedom of choice and can re-create ourselves at will. This makes more sense than the Sisyphus’ tale, don’t you think?
Say things happen differently than what you manifest consciously. That is the work of our higher being, taking control over the situation.
Say you order the Universe: on my way to work today all the streetlights are green!
You expect to have a good meeting with someone at 11 and make your business grow
The seventh street light turns red on you.
Oh, the others were just coincidence, you think. I can’t manifest anything.
If instead of denying yourself and turning into a victim you sharpen your awareness and wait before making destructive judgments, you will probably see that maybe if all the lights had been green you would have collided with that semi truck who jumped the light a mile away. The highest directive took charge. That day, it was more important for you to close that business than to get killed.
STOP BELIEVING!
