Why doesn’t life make sense?
Answer: When God is an external entity, life does not make sense.
What happens when we make a change in our perspective? Let’s see.
YOU ARE A SPIRITUAL BEING HAVING A HUMAN EXPERIENCE… OF YOUR CHOICE!
You are a timeless, all-powerful being, a creative spirit who decides to have a human experience. Where YOU ARE, there is only energy, and imagination. So you create yourself a Universe and it’s such fun that you elaborate on it, and create a multitude of parallel universes, a multi-dimensional universe, a Multiverse. No confinement here, you give yourself endless numbers of playgrounds. You are eternal, and You are everywhere. Mirroring yourself, You multiply at different scales and create galaxies and planets. You want many playmates, animate and inanimate, so You divide yourself into countless “others” to interact with.
You create the sets, and fill them with beauty of all kinds. You need the best conductor of ENERGY so you create WATER.
Your “essence” runs through everything and every “being”. You vibrate at different frequencies and as a result of cohesion, You discover multitudes of textures. Creation, no matter for whom, is always a process of discovery.
Now you really get into it, and result in a being that is a physical manifestation of YOURSELF, but DOES NOT KNOW IT! The challenge is to REMEMBER that she is YOU.
Her body is a wonderful system of systems. She has a mind, a psyche, she feels! She is full of beauty, she can conceive, she can create, and she can replicate herself. She has a right brain and a left-brain. With the left she can think sequentially, develop and speak languages, use logic.
With the right side of her brain, she can access inspiration, the muse, the creativity in herself, and, ultimately, her divinity. This, we will explore in depth in the next chapters of this book.
THE TRINITY
You like things in threes, so You create “him” to have a duality, and a third variety, which is a mixture of her and him. And multiple nuances in between.
And, deep in all of them, YOU ARE. The path that leads to her knowledge of You goes through her body, and she has to find it.
There is You in each of your creations. That is the meaning of Oneness. The same life force runs through all of us, animate and inanimate, be us minerals, plants, animals, or humans, and even through our machines.
We – the eternal being – create this and countless other simultaneous realities (string theory) to have a HUMAN experience. Humanity entails a myriad of smaller experiences and thus we multiply into all these, only apparently separate, beings.
The Lesson:
Oneness: you are me, the tree is me, the bird is me. It is ALL me. And me, is you.
This was he wisdom of many ancient people who revered nature and woman, as mothers.
Does this begin to make sense?

YOU ARE A HUMAN BEING HAVING A SPIRITUAL EXPERIENCE.
Do you believe this statement?
If you do, probably, for you, life does not make sense.

We are sentient beings. We think ALL the time. We even tend to over-think. Our minds are incredible super computers that work non stop 24/7. Our minds are capable of observation, examination, scrutiny, analysis, dissection, classification, deduction, and conclusion. In our dreaming state, we work with symbolism. We are able to build metaphors, allegories. And, using logic, we are experts at deluding ourselves.
Still, life does not seem to make sense. No matter how many questions we ask, we find no reasonable answers.
When we ask questions like:
- Why am I alive?
- What is my objective in life?
- What am I?
- Who am I?
- Why do bad things happen to me?
- Why the suffering?
- Why must I die?
We never seem to find satisfactory answers to these questions. But we need answers. It is in our nature to question and we do not feel satisfied until we find answers. In despair, we accept the will of a creator, a being beyond our comprehension, who pulls the strings of our life in a play of the absurd. Here we have an answer, but it still does not make sense. This answer just creates more questions:
- Why did God create me?
- Why is a baby born blind?
- Why do people die young?
- What is God’s will?
- Is there a life after death?
And
- Who is God?
- Is God a sadist, a killer, a father figure, a monster, an avenger, or a loving despot?
More painful still: Does God really exist?
Who knows? Who can figure any of this out? This type of reasoning alienates us further, making life even more of a mystery, and death, the unknown, even more of a threat. We make our lives and that of others a misery and we call it “the will of God”!
Based in all this fear, we invent stories we believe blindly, and this blind belief we call faith.
These stories cannot be questioned since they are based on weak structures that make them unable to stand the filter of reason. We brainwash ourselves, and our kids, with countless repetitions and threats; until we convince ourselves that our stories are “the truth”. We repress our sexuality, re-directing its energy into imbalance, making ourselves an easier pray to fanaticism. Consequently, we pervert it, and turn it into violence of all kinds. All this has become a power game. We divest women of their rightful place, inventing a man-god. This leads to all kinds of discrimination, and more and more violence. We terrorize ourselves through fear of death. We force others to follow our particular story. We kill them if they don’t. An unbeliever, the personification of our inner doubt, is a huge threat to us.
We spend a lot of time, shed a lot of blood, and waste a lot of energy, trying to make sense of life.
In spite of all this, life does not make sense. Why? Why doesn’t life make sense?
